~ Two of my favorite things are knitting and reading, and the evidence of this often shows up in my photographs. I love seeing what other people are knitting and reading as well. So, what are you knitting or crocheting right now? What are you reading?
I had to insert those first 2 pictures because I am just in love with the sea of zinnias in the garden right now! I guess because our temps have been so mild this summer the flowers have flourished when normally not much would still be in bloom. I hope tonight I can just photobomb you with pictures of what it really looks like out there. This week has been so busy getting ready for a good friend's daughter's wedding and knowing that my weekend will be spent away from home. I also received an order for 16 Drawstring bags from a Dallas yarn shop! So my sewing machine has been moving at warp speed!
This little sweater is our own Ginny's Sunday Sweater. This pattern is so well written and easy to follow. I will be making a size larger for the older granddaughter soon. The Shine Worsted is such a soft cotton to knit with and if you have read here enough, know that it is a favorite of mine. Its durability is wonderful!
I had put away the camera before my copy of the new Interweave issue came. I will count that as my reading. Some lovely sweater patterns for the fall/winter! I was searching around for a possible project and now I think I may have found one! Stay tuned!
Linking up with Ginny this week. Prayers are certainly continuing for her as she continues to morn her recent loss.
