~ Two of my favorite things are knitting and reading (though not at the same time!), and the evidence of this often shows up in my photographs. I love seeing what other people are knitting and reading as well. So, what are you knitting or crocheting right now? What are you reading?
The Gift Wrap sweater is not going to happen. I truly was not impressed with the way the pattern was written. I put it aside. Baby gifts should be fun to knit. So I began a stack of wash cloths for the little one and now a few for the mother with a gift of special soap to take to the hospital. I used my favorite pattern that is easy to memorize and can be knit anywhere. For the mother I am using a circular cloth. They are fun and I think feminine.
Don't you love that Drawstrings bag? I found this fabric and bought a few yards. Ginny will be using one in a giveaway this month so stay tuned!
I also have on order the other fabrics you see. If you are loving a particular one then message me through the Etsy shop. I can do a custom order for you!
At knitting group today, one of my friends ( a retired Episcopal priest ) brought me this book. I have read some of this author before and liked some and others had issues with. I'm going to give this one a try and I will let you know!!
Linking up wit Ginny!
I think hand knit cloths are the best gift, we use them here too.
