Yarn Along

~ Two of my favorite things are knitting and reading, and the evidence of this often shows up in my photographs.  I love seeing what other people are knitting and reading as well. So, what are you knitting or crocheting right now? What are you reading?

A completed sock!

V Junkie was a fun little slip stitch pattern that seemed to go quickly.  It usually takes me 2 weeks per sock and I think I did this in a couple of days less than that.  I am half way though the leg of sock 2. Modofications were made to accommodate the heel.  Not all notes are in Ravelry yet, but working on it.

Still reading The Birth House, but almost finished.  This has been a really nice read.  It has a touch of things that are dear to my heart.  History, mothering, birthing, and knitting.  I highly recommend it.

As I write we are still on baby watch.  Little Luke is digging in his heels!  ( not literally) He is just content.

As always, thanks Ginny for hosting!

  1. LOVE the sock!!! I know a lot of people have 'second sock syndrome', but I usually just get psyched to have one finished......and raring to make the next! (That unfortunately hasn't happened with those scrappy socks I started a while ago.....I'm not loving my scrap choices---I think I put all the 'good' colors in the scrappy scarf!!!!!)

Still thinking about you on baby watch!!!! Maybe this weekend????

    1. I usually have SSS really bad, but this time I think it is the yarn. Mad Tosh just feels so good! We are still waiting on baby. She goes to the Dr. today so hopefully a little help!
