Yarn Along

~ Two of my favorite things are knitting and reading, and the evidence of this often shows up in my photographs.  I love seeing what other people are knitting and reading as well. So, what are you knitting or crocheting right now? What are you reading?

The weather has turned cool and rain has moved in the last two days.  It is glorious.  We have finally caught up to most of the country in feeling like Fall.
My pictures are few as we had company over the weekend and my camera always seemed to be somewhere else.

The socks above are Medallion Lace.  I blogged about them last week.  I am now at the heel turn of sock two, so by the end of the week I should have a complete pair.  Maybe I should start a pair and leave them for a year more often.  It sure is a nice feeling to think you are completing a pair so fast!

While my friend was here, we did participate in  a small way in the Yarn Crawl happening in our area.

I shared these over the weekend, but if you weren't here, these are my new Mad Tosh sock yarns.  I am fortunate to live in the city where the Mad Tosh store is. We popped in there for a bit on Friday.  These I could not resist.

You may remember that last week I had come home from the library with these:

I have made little progress.  My reading time is limited to bedtime and I have spent my time reading blogs and researching, so opening a book has not happened.  My goal is to get to one of these this week.

Thanks again to Ginny!  Wednesdays are wonderful days to simply see what others are knitting and reading.  Couldn't you just curl up with a cup of coffee and browse these all day?!

  2. I really want to try some of that madeline tosh yarn. I hear it's divine! Your pink socks caught my eye in the yarn along line up. Pink is one of my favorite colors.
