A Little End of the Week....

This has been one of the busiest weeks!  Mailing out bags, and getting ready for tomorrow night' party for Mr. Golfer.  It is not a surprise party.  He is very much involved in the plans, but with only my mornings to get tasks accomplished, much is still left to do.

We had preschool Christmas programs and tonight an adult party. It's that time of year!

I snapped just a couple of granddaughter pics this week.  Rachel comes home and pulss out her pigtails just about every day.  It leaves her hair so full.  Cute, huh?

These skirts.  My mother made the original for me when I was 4.  It is made from felt and each of the appliqués are hand sewn.  When my girls were young, my mother used the original skirt to make one for each of them. You can see that in the very grainy picture from the '90's.  They have been packed away for years, but now Lilah and Evelyn are old enough to wear them.  They were just trying them on in these pictures, so of course they would not wear pants under them:) Last night Lilah wore one for her Christmas program.  I was one happy grandmother!

Today my youngest daughter and I go to taste cake for the Engagement party.  Who doesn't love to taste cake?

Have a great weekend!
