Yarn Along

I usually take my photos on Tuesday mornings for the Wednesday post so I have a chance at good light.  Now that the way I spend my days has changed, I have to rethink that. It's late at night when these were taken.  Please excuse the poor quality.

Half of the secret knitting is almost complete.  I will finish the last repeat and then border and bind off.  But, there is more. Another item to be added.  I bought the yarn today ( Tuesday) and need to decide on the final pattern.  By next week you will see the beginning of the other half.

Searching now for another good fiction read.  There is some pretty intense Lenten non fiction on my table, but I must have a balance.  I'm going to be looking to all of your for suggestions.

Linking up with Ginny!!

  4. Cannot wait to see it blocked and photographed in the light of a Tuesday morning! Lovely, Wanda! PS: I updated my post to include a link to your shop -- I intended to do that but was in such a hurry to get my post scheduled before I turned in last night that I forgot. Hope the shop is doing well! :)

    1. You are so sweet! Right now my oldest daughter has taken over the sewing. I am having to give time at my husband's office until we can find the right assistant to hire:(

  5. So beautiful, it looks like really lovely pattern! I have the same photography problem in the cold months when our daylight decreases so significantly. I like to have at least one fiction book at all times, I am not a huge non-fiction reader but I usually have one of those going at a time as well!

  8. your knitting is always so delightful to see!!! have you read any Elizabeth Goudge? I highly recommend _The Scent of Water_... one of my and my husband's good Catholic friends in MI is loving it; it is full of HOPE, wisdom, beauty and restorative goodness; it will feed you but not feel like a heavy read... :)
