Week Ending Vol 9

~ capturing the weekend in pictures Friday through Monday

Re-inventing Mother
In honor of Father's Day I want to begin with this picture of my step father as he walked me down the aisle 34 years ago. This picture definitely dates us!
Patrick has loved building creations for his cars with the wooden blocks.  I love inspiring creativity in the children.  Getting them away from the electronics!
The daylilies continue to open.
Caitlin doesn't get home as often as any of us would like, but we had her this weekend. She graced us with trying on a dress that was my mothers.  My father brought this fabric home from Singapore when I was about 6-7 years old and my mother had a dressmaker design this for her.  Amazingly, it fits Caitlin to a tee!  Isn't she gorgeous!
It was also our oldest son in law's birthday, so we celebrated at one of the famous Tex Mex restaurants here.
The oldest granddaughter also received a belated birthday gift.

These two have such wonderful restaurant manners!

We did have a little upset with not wanting to finish her meal. Our oldest daughter was not too pleased with her.

Sunday brought the rest of the family together to continue the celebration. After Mass we gathered at home to eat and play.
Mr. Golfer.
Sisters. Daughters 3 and 4.

Big sister.  Daughter 2 with Patrick.

Lots of fun and laughing.

I hope your weekend was full of joy!
