Yarn Along... Advent and Christmas Knitting?

~Two of my favorite things are knitting and reading, and the evidence of this often shows up in my photographs. I love seeing what other people are knitting and reading as well. So, what are you knitting or crocheting right now? What are you reading?

Happy Advent!!!!  The candles are burning at dinner.  We are calming our hearts here and living the waiting.  Buying is slow and purposeful.  No Black Friday here.

I rarely do Christmas knitting.  It would take me all year do complete. Throw in there baby blankets the last 4 years and I would be sunk.  But...this year there were some specific requests that weren't complicated.  Problem is...I have 22 days!

I can't tell you what this is because the recipient often checks in here. It has to be seemed up the side and the mate to it is in progress.  A quick knit.

I think this next pic shows the color better.  Dang that winter light!

Its 'not a fancy yarn. This project needs durability.  I'll share the name after Christmas!
.
I am beginning to bring out my Spode.  That pitcher is new.  I brought out the table runner and it had a spot on it from last year.  So, it is having a bath.  The sugar and creamer have taken up residence on the shelf.

Reading is still the same as last week and most likely will be through Christmas.  I love reading Ann's devotional each day along with my daily prayer time.

I had my second appt. with the Chiro today and we are making progress.  I am so grateful for that man!

Ginny looks like she is up and moving more and Job is fitting well into family life!  Thanks again Ginny for linking us all together!

  1. Thanks for the little glimpse into your holiday 'look'! (I have some Christmas spode around here somewhere, too!!!!) Lovely secret knit you have there (of course, I'm going to love it---it's grey!) Have a happy (painless!!!) week.
