Yarn Along and baby update

Two of my favorite things are knitting and reading, and the evidence of this often shows up in my photographs.  I love seeing what other people are knitting and reading as well. So, what are you knitting or crocheting right now? What are you reading?

I am down to the wire on the second sock which makes me very proud.  I suffer greatly from SSS and to make this much progress so quickly is good!  They fit perfectly and I can't wait for a hint of Fall so that I can slip them on!  It is still in the 90's here, but in Texas that changes rapidly.  Next week we could be in sweaters!

Because I know there will be waiting room knitting in the near future, I went ahead and cast on for
Array.  A slip stitch cowl that I blogged about here.

Bonhoeffer has been on my list to attempt for a while.  I thought I might not be ready for something so heavy, but from the beginning I have loved it.  You will be seeing that picture for weeks!

*  as of this afternoon,  baby Luke ( per sono) is apprx. 8.8 lbs.  All is well, but the Dr. has tentatively scheduled an induction for Friday.  My daughter really doesn't want the induction.  She is looking at this like "washing your car and then it rains."  If it is scheduled then he will come!*

Thanks Ginny as always for the opportunity to see what others are knitting!

  2. Your socks look great! I'm sure it will be cool enough to wear them soon. I brought one of my pairs of hand knit socks with me today. I was afraid my feet would get too cold!
