Yarn Along

~ Two of my favorite things are knitting and reading, and the evidence of this often shows up in my photographs.  I love seeing what other people are knitting and reading as well. So, what are you knitting or crocheting right now? What are you reading?

I am really in love with knitting this blanket.  The pattern is so easy and Knit Picks Comfy is a beautiful cotton to have thread through your fingers.  The colors are so perfect together and if I hadn't found this blanket already knit in these colors, I don't think I would have come up with these repeats.

Those two skeins above are a very light lavender and the same gray I am using now.  When I begin that blanket I think I will add white in where the pink is in the current one.  Does that make sense?  Just to break it up a little.

I found a copy of Pope Benedict's writings at the library.  I am enjoying delving into these.  Some a little heavy, but most very "essential".  I may compose a post on these a little later.  Still trying to find that "voice".

A record day yesterday at Drawstrings! Nine bags sold in one day is wonderful!!!  I have added new fabric choices.  I have bags at my LYS as well and I switched some out, so those should be posted this week as well.  Thank you truly for the shop.  I am humbled.

Looking forward today to seeing what everyone is knitting an reading!  Joining Ginny at Small Things.
