Yarn Along

~ Two of my favorite things are knitting and reading (though not at the same time!), and the evidence of this often shows up in my photographs. I love seeing what other people are knitting and reading as well. So, what are you knitting or crocheting right now?

The wash cloths are finished.  I did a few for the new baby and a couple of round ones with a special soap included ( Thank you Lisa! ).  My daughters loved having a few special cloths with a nice soap to pack in their hospital bag, so I love to including this for new mothers.

I have cast on for the Hitofude Cardigan but I am only a few rows into it. I will have a full post on it next week. Right now it looks like a mess. Thank you Karen for your email help with the provisional cast on. So wonderful to have online knitting friends!

Do you love that fabric?  I discovered Spoonflower where designers upload their creations and it is turned into fabric!  They have so many knitting themed fabrics and it took me hours to choose.  I have a very limited amount of these, so if you are interested message me through the shop.

Limited reading except for my bible lesson each week.  Hopefully by the end of the week we will have all the wedding vendors in place and I can breathe a little.  If you missed yesterday's post, there was a glimpse of an engagement photo. :))

Linking up with Ginny!

  11. washcloths for babies are such a fun gift. I make them a bit smaller than the usual 45 or so stitches, I start the decrease at around 32. Last time I gifted them, I put them in a large mason jar with some travel-sized baby toiletries, and made a cute tag with a cross-stitched duckie. The new mama loved it!
