Yarn Along

I'm participating in 2 linkups today, so if you please, hop on over to Team Whitaker for a peek at A Week in My Life!

~ Two of my favorite things are knitting and reading (though not at the same time!), and the evidence of this often shows up in my photographs. I love seeing what other people are knitting and reading as well. So, what are you knitting or crocheting right now? What are you reading?

I am beginning the sleeves on the Sunday Sweater.  I wish this sweater was also in adult sizes.  Now that I have knit this twice I really want one for myself!  Maybe our sweet Ginny will someday grant my wish?

Those roses are the last of the season.  It turned cold here today as it has in most of the country. I was able to rescue these before those bitter winds blew in.

Time permitted me a bit at the library today. Three new books to review.  That Emily Post book?  Well, some questions have been popping up concerning the wedding and since my copy was printed in the '90s I decided to glance in the newly updated version. Let's just say that some things in a wedding don't change and mothers do sometimes know best:)))))

Linking up with Ginny for another Yarn Along!

  3. I agree, I would love a Sunday Sweater too. I am kind of glad my wedding days are behind me for awhile, three weddings in three years, I'm tired!

  4. that sweater is looking really great! I think I must indeed be a bit of a hippie as it were when it comes to weddings... I did not do any etiquette reading for my wedding (that I planned myself, no help) ... it was fun, beautiful and I loved wearing my Grandma's dress and pretty pink/rose red Birkenstock sandals :))) It was such a great day; weddings sure can be stressful but also one of the best days ever! :)

    1. I'm definitely not an anything goes kind of person. I love tradition and I love rules and boundaries!

  10. Yes, this sweater is something I would like to have too! Maybe Ginny will have it worked up in adult size by the time I graduate to knitting sweaters! :) Thanks for stopping by my blog this week!
